Metalmart delivers your orders w/either a 45’ or 37’ trailer. With either of these trailers, the total length to be accommodated will be 55’-65’ in length. Please be understanding of our ability/inability to drop in certain locations at your drop site.

Metalmart Delivery Procedures

Just a few things to consider before delivery…

1. WHERE: Metalmart will only provide 1-drop point per customer order. Please understand the weight of one truck & trailer with material can weigh up to 80,000 lbs. It is to the discretion of Metalmart’s delivery driver to determine if your job site is safe to unload your material. Any changes to the originally quoted job site location while driver is in route may result in a drop charge fee to accommodate the change.

2. HOW: METALMART DOES NOT UNLOAD MATERIAL BEING DELIVERED!

It is recommended to have equipment to unload your order that is equipped with forks. Forklift, tractor/bobcat w/forks, crane, etc…This will be the safest & best way to ensure your material to be free from damage.

You may unload your material by hand. Please be sure you have adequate “helper” to assist in unloading. Please be aware that material could be damaged while unloading in this manner, which will not be the responsibility of Metamart. Please be careful while unloading in this manner.

Unless Grandma can handle her own on a forklift, please have help on site when deliveries are scheduled.

*PLEASE SPECIFY THE UNLOADING CAPACITY OF YOUR MACHINERY SO MATERIAL CAN BE PACKAGED PROPERLY.

3. WHO: Metalmart requires that an individual (which you choose) sign for “receipt” of materials upon delivery. This individual must count, verify pcs delivered and to make sure order is correct. if you don’t provide anybody to sign, you take responsibility of material, confirm delivery and correctness of order.
